Why change our name? The decision to change our name, and in essence our identity was no small decision for us. Precision Financial has served us well, but we felt that it did not represent what we did for businesses or how we wanted to be perceived any longer. Everything we do is focused on enabling businesses to make more profit. So, if profit is central to our philosophy, it ought to be in our name, right?
The process we worked through with Hot Dog Marketing has been an interesting one and has been similar to how we guide our clients through discovering their own goals, both in business planning and budget management. More than just a name change, moving from Precision Financial to Profit Foundry took a lot of reflection on our part and really getting down to what our business is all about. We want to take enough financial management stress off of our clients’ shoulders that they can effectively and successfully meet their business goals, while actually enjoying the process, and most importantly profiting from their company.
We walked through the process of defining our own goals through building our website, the message we want to get across and how we could best share that message with those who are looking for our services. Our pain points were familiar to us because they are our clients’ pain points, which is one of the ways that we are so appropriately poised to help mid-sized and small businesses. Leveraging our expertise and talents to do this is central to our clients’ ability to be successful. Our name and image needed to represent this.
After much discussion and review with our marketing company, we discovered that we weren’t just looking at a name change, but a philosophy shift. Profit Foundry has been developed for our clients to help them build a foundation for their business to grow. We are here to empower our clients, who are business owners and executives, so they can make smart business decisions with timely, accurate and reliable financial guidance. At Profit Foundry, this is what we do.
